so here we are.....september......and quite possibly our birth month! it's getting so exciting! only weeks to go now. moving around has gotten quite a bit harder this week. my pelvis is definitely getting ready for a birthing a baby and doesn't care much for walking. it's slow going now! and i thought i was slow a few weeks ago! ; )

we had a check up this week. they did a bunch of tests to get ready for birthing day. i gave blood and urine, they did a chest xray and an ecg, and also a prick to the ear to time my blood clotting. it was a busy appointment, compared to other times. as always, we checked in on peanut to see how she's doing. all seems well. we got this photo:
on the way home teddy and i were discussing how the nurses are better and getting a good photo of the baby compared to the doctor. teddy was saying that she had a good opportunity to stop and click but waited a second too long. by the time she got the photo he said "it looks like a jellyfish drowning in tar." i thought it was quite funny. the photo is pretty bad, but i thought the story was funny.....so i posted it.
