bienvenido a cancun!

that's right.......i'm going to cancun! of course,this means that-yet again-i miss something important going on at home. erika is getting married in march and after taking the past year off i need to be working by then......so i'm going to miss the wedding. her bridal shower is the weekend of the 21st of this month, and there are some people getting together for some fun that friday night. i was sure i'd be home in time for that, but i'm not going to make it. teddy's brother, henry, and sister-in-law, jessica, are having us stay with them right now and they are leaving for cancun this saturday. they mentioned how much fun it would be for us to go with them and after a short discussion with teddy, we decided we didn't want to spend that money right now and i wanted to be home for erika's weekend, so........we decided not to go. well when teddy's parents heard that we decided not to go, they booked us in for the trip and surprised us last night when they called to say that we are going. i hate always missing things at home, and i really wanted to be home the end of january, but it's not like i can say "no thanks. i'm busy. i can't go to cancun. maybe next time.". i just wish i was as excited about going as the rest of the gang. i think when i get there i'll warm up to it pretty quickly though!
