so many places.....so little time.......
.......and money!!
i was lazily waking up this morning, when a guy i met years ago in thailand (2002 or 2003) came online on msn and we started chatting. we quickly caught up on the past couple years, chatted for a bit and made tentitive plans for traveling together. tentative is the big word here. the plan is to hike kilimanjaro. i'm not available for extended travel until after february 2008, and aparently the worst time to hike kilimanjaro is march-june. so after reading about kilimanjaro climbs all morning.......i'm feeling.........excited, a little scared about it, like i can do it (with some training!), happy to have something to look forward to..........i love travelling. i can't seem to get enough of it. i love the people i meet. i love the places i get to see. i love the excitement of preparing for a new adventure. if anyone out there knows anyone who has climbed kilimanjaro, or has any information about it.....please be sure to pass it along.

sorry...2008. we are thinking of it for our honeymoon. we are thinking of starting in morocco and working our way along the east coast, through egypt, tanzania, etc., and down into south africa.
wow! that sounds wonderful. i'll be going in 2008 as well. the plan is so new i have no idea when, exactly, but i'm not able to travel until this current contract ends. only 8 months to go.....and the countdown continues!!

Hiya Pound... gosh, it has been 10 years. It was June 11, 1997 that Dawn and I began our journey down Courtship Lane, and look where it got us. Amazing.
Thanks for stopping by my site - makes me wonder who else from my past is blogging. And no, I won't be joining Facebook to find out. :p
