the pillowcase dress!

 a few weeks ago i made this pillow case dress for lilyanna. i made a matching one for mallory, as well. i can't wait to see them together in just a few days!

then last night i made this one:



i decided to tie this one like the traditional style (on the sides) to give more of the coral color. it is one of lilyanna's best colors and the reason for buying the fabric seen here.

i have been so very much enjoying my new hobby. next up: i want to use the left overs of the coral flowered fabric to sew a skirt onto a t-shirt to create a dress. i'll post photos when it's done.
