sewing, sewing, sewing!

wow! is sewing ever fun! the blog has been a bit neglected since i picked up this great hobby. that and the fact that lilyanna hates to have her photo taken!

these are a few photos of some of my creations. these quick-to-make leggings are made from a pair of women's knee socks. the feet of the socks makes the seat part around the bum, and the part at lilyanna's ankles is what was the top of the sock. my goodness some people are creative! i found the idea (and lots more!) online.

 those leggings sure help complete this outfit:

i made the leggings here, as well, but also the sweater dress from an old sweater i was no longer wearing. i put the belt together too, from a piece of ruffle elastic and a flower pin. gosh, girls are fun!

i have made a few other things, but just need to get a photo.
