end of june

we had such a busy summer, with our move, wedding planning and visiting family, that i didn't get much time to update here very often. here are some photos from the last week or two in korea:

 this is from the time when lilyanna loved dribbling water down her shirt. wet shirts feel awful to me.......i'm not too sure why lilyanna liked it.

 lilyanna loved looking at anything that reflected her face. mirrors, tv, and even these chrome circles on daddy's chair! yea me!

 one of our last walks with brenna and her mommy. : ( here we are at the end of the walk, having coffee and play time. we loved our morning walks and miss them a lot.

these feet were made for walkin'.....

.....and that's just what they'll do........aaannd....crash into mommy!

lilyanna has become quite the walker over the last week. she walks now without being coaxed to do so. it's only for short distances, but she seems to get a lot better everyday. this morning she walked while sucking her thumb, only needing one hand for balance.

she's growing up!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY LILYANNA!!!

what a day! i can't believe lilyanna's 1yr old already! she woke with smiles and ready for her big day.....

 after breakfast we went to the library for some songs and story time with some other kids in the area:

 lilyanna missed her morning nap while at the library, so we had lunch when we got home and then straight to bed for a nap.

 after she woke up, lilyanna and mommy went for a walk to the pond to feed the ducks.

 the ducks weren't interested much today and lilyanna couldn't believe it, but was happy to be outside anyway!

 after papa got home from work, we went to a chinese buffet for dinner.

 then back at home it was time for presents and cake! we got lilyanna some mega bloks.

 then cake! the icing was fun to taste.....but lilyanna was too full after dinner to eat any cake.

 after a long and happy day.....bed is so great!

 all in all we had a great day celebrating the day our baby was born. lilyanna is an amazing girl and we are so blessed to be her parents. we love her to bits and can't wait to see what the next year has in store. here she was one year ago today.....
