morning fun

i have tried several times to get a video of lilyanna enjoying her toys in the morning, but she is camera aware already! everytime i get the camera out when she's talking to her toys and laughing at them, she stops and stares blankly at the camera. i did, however, manage to get this small glimpse of her having fun one morning.....

christmas market

most often things in korea are misleading. so here goes another misled adventure story: on facebook a friend posted this ad http://www.worknplay.co.kr/korea-event/sport-hobby-club-communities/4382/european-christmas-market#.TsihhGgUfOc.facebook for a christmas market and said she was going. i asked if we could tag along for some christmas fun and we made plans to meet at the subway station closest to the venue for this past saturday. well it turned out that the venue listed online was the office of the organization that helped put it together, not the market venue. we went back to the subway station and at the exit across the street was the market. if you cared to check out the original ad, you might have epected something more than the 7 tents behind us (you can see the whole market in the photo below). we certainly did! we did get to try some delicious treats from the european countries that took part, but i wouldn't have called it a christmas market. it was more like "a few tents selling some examples of things eaten at christmas time in their respective countries"---but i guess that's a very long title, isn't it?! lilyanna is in the photo, you just can't see her since she's all snuggled up in her carrier cover. i don't even think she knew we had been there! she quite often sleeps through a lot of what i do when i take her out. she is such a good baby!
