milwaukee bound!

back in october i found a lactation counselor course that i wanted to take and, in the first week of november, they happened to be offering it in milwaukee. what a great opportunity to visit teddy's brother! he and his wife were so gracious to have us stay with them for the week. we didn't take many photos of the trip, but here are a few we did take.

 

lilyanna was a super-dee-duper traveller. the drive is about 11 or 12 hours and we chose to do it over two days. this is her on the first day. she did this most of the way.

 here we are stopping for a lunch break. lilyanna was happy to have a break.

 we only got one "welcome to" sign photo on the trip, the one welcoming us to missouri. we actually crossed through tennessee, arkansas, (then missouri) and illinois before entering wisconsin.

 at this stop we took time out for lilyanna to play. a well earned play session. it was her first go at a slide and she loved it. she kept asking for "more".

 back on the road....and being a good girl!

 this was actually on the way home. we didn't have the camera ready in time on the first way through. we never did see hudson lane.....

as always, it was great seeing teddy's brother, henry, and his family. we somehow don't take photos together when we visit. we will have to start changing that. we actually ended up staying in memphis at henry's inlaw's place for most of a week, on our way back. it was nice to meet them and they were very welcoming to us and loved lilyanna.

a few weeks ago i got the results in the mail from the lactation course that took us to milwaukee. i passed with flying colors! i was so surprised! i did not feel good about the test at the end of the week of study. it was quite difficult and i was not sure that i passed. i can now officially use the letters CLC (certified lactation counselor) after my name! i am now loree-beth chang, clc! yippee!
