where's the hair???

i thought for sure lilyanna's asian genes would give her a full head of hair at birth......but i was wrong! most korean babies have so much hair and i was looking forward to using hair clips in lilyanna's hair, so before she was even born, i bought the tiniest little clips in hopes of using them soon. well.....she's 6 months old and barely has enough hair to be put in a clip. i can get it in, but it definitely doesn't stay. this photo was from 2 weeks ago when i tried them:

i tried again this morning. it stayed a bit better, but again, only long enough for the photo. then it falls out.
for now i guess we have to wear head bands and hats with pretty flowers on them.
