taiwan 2/3

so after visiting in teddy's mom's hometown, we headed back to taipei for the night. we were surprised to find out that a reservation at the hyatt had been made for us! what a treat! not my usual accommodation when i travel! this was the view from our window:

 after checking in we went for a walk. we found the taipei 101 building:

we also discovered that along the sidewalks they have rental bikes. you just put in coins, ride and return it at your destination. great idea!

the next day we went to teddy's dad's hometown (also the town where teddy was born). it was time for lilyanna to meet great-grandpa, great-grandma and aunt judy. the lady in the stripes is a neighborhood friend.
